St Andrews Sailing Club launches taster sessions

Posted on

This year Push the Boat Out will be taking place at St Andrews Sailing Club on 4 and 25 May from 12 noon to 5pm. This is an RYA backed national event promoting sailing and will see hundreds of clubs across the country offering free or low cost ‘have a go’ sailing taster sessions and open days. Last year we had two fantastic days with over 70 people trying out sailing. This year we plan to use the Argo, the two Stratos and the Laser 2000 to take people out for short taster sails around the bay. We hope to take up to ten people out per 40 minute session. The second day, 25 May, is planned as a day exclusively for school children and juniors.
